Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make an order? - Just click on the product of your choice, add it to your cart. This will take you to your shopping cart where quantities can also be changed. Then click 'checkout' to fill out your credit card details to pay for your chosen items. We also have a bank transfer option, which will take longer as we have to wait for the payment to clear, please follow the instructions in the checkout cart and email.

How do I pay for my order? Is it safe to use my credit card? - When you checkout you are directed to Shopify secure payment gateway where you can enter your details safely. You can also now select if you would like to pay by bank account transfer if you do not have a credit card.

Payment Options - On checkout you can either opt to pay by credit card, paypal, afterpay, or bank deposit. Credit card transactions are processed immediately and in most cases your order will be shipped on the same or next working day. (No orders are sent or delivered on weekends.) If you opt to pay by bank transfer your order will be shipped once the payment clears, which is generally overnight, but in some cases (with public holidays etc) this may take longer.

If you forgot to grab the bank details from the checkout please deposit orders into the account below. Please ensure you include your order number (i.e. #16397), as a reference when depositing. Your order number can be found in the order confirmation you receive via email.

Delivery Rates

To ensure you always pay a fair price for delivery you will be presented with exact shipping rates in the checkout, based upon the items you order and your delivery address. All packages are couriered out of Palmerston North, New Zealand.

Checkout has all the delivery options currently available including our standard nationwide rate of $6.90, for parcels under 5kg, but does not include rural addresses. Rural deliveries come at an extra cost listed currently at $9.90 nationwide. Please allow 7-14 working days for your package to arrive before contacting us. Although we strive to have them arrive in 3-5 working days with public holidays and weekends this can take longer depending on the shipping option and payment option you chose. We strive to complete all orders received before 2pm the same day. 

P.O. Boxes

We are currently unable to ship to P.O. Boxes. If a P.O. Box address is given by mistake we will contact you and this may cause a delay with the delivery of your package.

International Delivery

If you require products delivered internationally please contact us with your location so we can give you a close estimate before you order. Prices will vary depending on the weight of your products and your locality. We can not currently ship certain liquids (such as Diffusers), anything glass, or extremely heavy overseas outside of New Zealand sorry. If you are unsure about a product in your cart, feel free to call, text, email or Facebook us for answers :)

How much does shipping cost? - Checkout has all the delivery options currently available including our standard nationwide light rate (parcels lighter than 5kg) which is $6.90. Heavier parcels and Rural deliveries come at an extra cost (all depending on location and weight) and are listed currently at $9.90, $14.90 and $19.90 nationwide. What if my order is wrong, lost or damaged? - We will always do our best to make sure our customers are happy. Please see check out our Terms, or contact us to discuss any problems directly. Please email us at hello@rummagestore.co.nz as we treat every enquiry different, depending on the situation.

How long will my order take to arrive? - Orders will arrive between 3-14 days depending on the delivery option you choose and the day you ordered. (Currently there are no weekend courier runs, so if you order Thursday night or Friday your order will not arrive before Monday on.) We try our very best, working late and past our normal operation hours to get all packages sent off asap. Please check your track and trace first and give your parcel 7 days before contacting us about your order. Rural packages usually take 1 extra day. A product is 'Currently Out of Stock' or Disappeared from the site. How long until it's available again? - Because our products are so ridiculously cheap, they sell out quickly and we may never have that product again. If you are after something in particular, please contact us straight away by emailing at hello@rummagestore.co.nz or for the quickest response, please Facebook message us :)
